VS is out of town today.
- Founded in 1926 by William Danforth
- Covers over 300 acres
- As a working research campus, the first commercially produced dry dog food was developed here
- The Visitor Center here has education exhibits, wagon rides, a hayloft play area and hands-on animal encounters with chicks, lambs, bunnies and cows (milking).
- Dogs are welcome here if vaccinated, leashed and well-socialized.
